About Our Childcare Facility
Mission & Vision
We provide a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate program which fosters active learning, and support for the whole child as well as a child-centered environment. We foster innovation. We embrace teamwork. We strive for excellence. We respect and support families. We commit to service at all levels. We respect and appreciate diversity. We actively listen and seek to understand. We communicate openly and productively. We use resources creatively and responsibly. We abide by the NAEYC Code of Ethics and Statement of Commitment.
Our vision is to be nationally recognized as an outstanding childcare facility which recognizes the needs of children, families, and teachers.
Once an individual has been hired, they must complete an orientation in which they will be trained on the Center’s policies through written material, observation, and direct interaction with the staff, parents, and children. All new staff members must complete all forms provided to them before their first day of orientation.

Meet Our Childcare Professionals
“I am a mother of four children ages 7, 10, 15, and 20. I have worked in the childcare field, serving both children and families, for more than 25 years. I hold an associate degree in Early Childhood Education, and I am currently working toward completing my bachelors’ degree in Psychology and Child Development. I have completed training in Parent As Teachers for Birth – 3 years as well as for 3 to 5-year-olds. I hold two CDAs: Infant Toddlers and Preschool. I am currently CPR and First Aid-certified, and I’m a Registered 2 Tier Trainer for The Registry.
In the course of my childcare profession, I have worked with children of all ages from varying backgrounds and home settings. I’ve enjoyed caring for children in the classroom in a group childcare setting as well as owning and operating an in-home childcare for 6 years. I’ve extended my experience into management as a Program Director for 5 years, and I am currently working as a Program Administrator and Head Start Teacher.
I enjoy being a part of a child’s development process and firmly believe that every child is unique and deserving of love and positive guidance. I also believe that children need a strong support system that includes family and community. In the future, I would like to further my education by obtaining my Master’s in Education.”
